Ride Along

At the Chillum-Adelphi VFD, we always welcome visitors. We feel that the best way to get a feel for the department and its activities is to spend some time with us. Potential members are encouraged to take part in our ride along program.

Ride-Alongs are permitted to respond with us on calls but may not participate in operations at the scene. Persons wishing to ride along must fill out a release form as stipulated by the County Fire Department. This form is available in PDF format by clicking below. Simply print out the form, fill it out, and contact us to schedule a visit. If you wish to pay us a visit please e-mail Firefighter Dave Wakeley, or call the station and say that you want to come ride along.

RIDE-A-LONG FORM

Weekends are an excellent time to come by as our call volume goes up during those periods. Oftentimes there are some interesting shenanigans occurring in the first due, courtesy of the locals.
