Just as the Bomberos were about to eat some lunch, the box was filled for 3408 University Blvd as units were dispatched for a house on fire with people trapped. Engine 343 was onscene moments later with light smoke showing and the neighbors aiding an elderly woman out of the house to safety. The Bomberos stretched the 250 foot preconnect and found a utility closet off in the basement. The fire was quickly knocked down and Truck 14 assisted with opening up and smoke removal. Units took up and returned to quarters just in time to finish their Happy Meals before the next ambulance call.
