At 1423 Hours, the box alarm was struck for 4017 Hamilton Street at the WSSC building, bringing Truck 34 and Chief 34A with a total of 7 personnel. Hyattsville PD arrived and advised fire units that it was a working fire. Truck 34 arrived as the second due truck company and performed ventilation, search of the basement and division 1, and provided ground ladders to side Charlie. While these tasks were being performed, the outside team threw the stick and checked stairwells and roof conditions. Lt. Bond managed to fall not once but twice while operating on this call, but unlike our rookie, didn't need to go to the hospital. Imagine that.
